Large Thor's Hammer from Kabbarp.

The solidly crafted Thor's hammer pendant is also known as the Skåne hammer after the place where it was found, Kabbarp in Skåne.

This large Thor's hammer is a real eye-catcher and is unrivalled in this form. There are very few Thor's hammer pendants that are as expressive as the Skåne hammer.

The Thorshammer Kabbarp is modelled on the original Viking Age find of a large Thor's Hammer pendant from Kabbarp (Skåne) in southern Sweden and is a very successful interpretation of the historic original Skåne hammer.

Dimensions of the Skåne hammer: 5.5 x 4.5 cm.

The large Thor's hammer is made of cast zamak in the colours brass or silver.

A 1 metre long black cotton cord is included.

Alternatively, a leather strap can also be ordered.

The old Norse name Mjölnir for the Thor's hammer means malmer or lightning. The Mjölnir was the magical war hammer of the Viking god Thor, who used it to fight the enemies of the gods, especially the giants and, at the end of the world in Ragnarök, the Midgard Serpent.

After a successful throw, the Thor's hammer returned to Thor's hand all by itself. Carrying the Mjölnir was widespread among the Vikings in the 9th and 10th centuries, as carrying a Thor's hammer allowed them to visibly distance themselves as pagans from emerging Christianity.
