Knotted ring of the Viking Age made of bronze.
This small knotted ring was made after a model from the Viking Age. Such rings are often recovered in finds and were used at the time both for fastening and as finger jewellery. On the one hand, the ring can be used to connect a necklace with a brooch or a toilet utensil etc., but it is also very suitable as an inexpensive finger ring for children.
The model for this knotted ring comes from the Viking silver treasure of Färgelanda in Dalsland / Sweden.
