This medieval style mount with a Celtic triad has an openwork design and is ideal as a fitting for leather items.The Celtic mount with the motif of an openwork triad with a surrounding ring is ideal for decorating medieval items made of leather - for medieval bags as well as historical belts.
The Triad fitting is available in a medium size in brass or silver-coloured, made from cast zamak.
Diameter of the Celtic mount: 2.8 cm.
There is a 5 mm long pin on the back of the Celtic triad mount. A small cap is simply placed on it for fastening and the decorative rivet is then fixed in place with a few light taps with a hammer.
The three-part Celtic knot pattern is called a triad. According to ancient Celtic belief, the triad symbolises the eternally turning wheel of fate, the constant cosmic change. The Celts believed that the wearer of the triad would be granted spiritual knowledge and intuition.
