The strap divider from Gotland has the following dimensions: 5.5 x 1.5 cm. For belts of 3 - 4 mm thickness.
Two double-headed rivets for fastening are included.
For connecting, we recommend our round ring.
Depending on the intended use, two of the strap dividers can be used to connect or extend a strap, or three parts can be used for a sword hanger. A suspension for a sax scabbard would also be conceivable.
Strap spreaders were widespread in the Viking Age and can be found in Birka and on Gotland as well as in Russia and other Viking settlement areas.
