Russian Viking belt with bronze buckle replica.
This 3 cm wide Russian Viking belt is provided with an expressive bronze buckle after a find from Gnezdovo near Smolensk / Russia, dating to the 10th century.The Viking leather belt can be worn knotted due to its length and is therefore ideally suited for the authentic garb in Viking reenactment. Two embossed lines along the sides also give the Viking belt a slim line.
Two sizes are available:
Belt N: Length 161 cm - Circumference 91 - 109 cm
Belt EX: length 176 cm - Circumference 101 - 119 cm
The bronze buckle measures 4.8 x 4.5 cm and is thus considerably larger than the historical model.
A belt with matching strap end is also available.
The robust, open-edged Viking belt is made of 2.8 - 3.2 mm thick cowhide. The velvet-matt waxed belt leather acquires that natural patina over time that is so characteristic of genuine, vegetable-tanned leather.
