This Viking-period belt is made of vegetable-tanned cow heart leather 2.5 to 3.2 mm thick and has a bronze buckle with a rivet plate.The 1.5 cm wide Viking belt bears the replica of a belt buckle after the find from the ship burial of Gokstad / Norway, made of high-quality bronze and fastened to the belt with a rivet plate, as was typical for the Viking Age.
Belt circumference: 85 - 103 cm (total length 151 cm).
Optionally, the Gokstad belt is also available with the matching strap end.

The Viking belt can be worn knotted due to its length and is therefore ideally suited for authentic garb in Viking and medieval reenactment. Two embossed lines along the sides also give the Viking-era belt a slim line.
The robust, open-edged Viking belt is made of very hard-wearing, rustic cowhide leather 2.8 - 3.2 mm thick. The velvet-matt waxed belt leather acquires that natural patina over time that is so characteristic of genuine, vegetable-tanned leather.
