The belt buckle for this belt is made with the motif of a mystical eagle-falcon based on the medieval model of the Rakamaz fitting in Hungary.Several Magyar and Avar Turul fittings are known from the Carpathian Basin.

The solid belt is made of very durable and rustic cowhide of 3.2 - 3.5 mm thickness.
The velvet-matt waxed belt leather acquires that natural patina over time that is so characteristic of genuine, vegetable-tanned leather.
The belt is dyed through with a glaze during the tanning process in the barrel and does not hide the traces of an authentic cattle life on the pasture, but makes them its trademark.
Four lengths in black and brown are available.

The Turul is a magical creature from the myths of ancient Hungary, a creature half eagle half falcon, who often holds a sword in his fangs. According to Magyar legend, in 819 a Turul impregnated the ruler's daughter Emese in her sleep and prophesied to her in a dream that she would give birth to a son who would one day be the progenitor of many kings. She named this son Álmos, after álom, which means dream.
A Turul also played an important role in the legends about the land conquest of the Hungarians in prehistoric times, as he is said to have once led the Hungarians to Pannonia. The Turul was not only widespread in the art of the Magyars, but also among the Huns and Avars.
