Medieval belt hand forged buckle.
This 4 cm wide medieval belt is made of 3 - 3.5 mm thick cowhide and has a hand-forged iron buckle of the Middle Ages.As the belt is of a length common in the Middle Ages, it is worn wrapped, with the protruding end of the strap falling decoratively to the ground.
Two narrow lines embossed into the leather give the belt an elegant look.
Two sizes are available:
S: 165 cm circumference 92 - 107 cm
L: 180 cm circumference 105 - 120 cm
Belts with forged D-buckles made of iron were already in use in antiquity, but they are found especially in the finds of the Viking Age and even in the Middle Ages.
