Strap end fitting for the end of a medieval belt.
This historical strap end fitting is based on finds from the late Middle Ages and is perfect for medieval belts 2 cm wide.This medieval strap end complements our medieval buckles, e.g. 09 Ma-S 2:A or 09 Ma-S 2:B.
The strap end fitting is available in brass or silver colour, made from cast zamak.
Dimensions of the late medieval trap end: 6.7 x 2.8 cm.
There are two 5 mm long pins on the back of the belt end fitting, onto which small caps supplied are simply placed for fastening; the belt tongue is then fixed in place with a few light taps with a hammer.
