This replica of a Viking bead is modelled on a historical find from the 9th - 10th century, which was made using an elaborate granulation technique.In the granulated beads of the Viking Age, small balls and fine wires were soldered onto the bead in intricate detail work.
Our Viking bead, on the other hand, is cast entirely in one piece, and the filigree design is magnificently expressed.
