Replica of a medieval finger ring.
This detailed replica of a historical finger ring from the Middle Ages with the inscription "PAX" is faithfully made after an original find from the first half of the 11th century.
The medieval ring, which was the inspiration for this replica, was originally made of pure gold and was designed with two flanking lions.
The inscription "PAX" means peace in Latin.
A very similar medieval finger ring is exhibited in the Pforzheim Jewellery Museum in Germany, published in the catalogue "Das Reich der Salinger 1024-1125", exhibition in the Roman-Germanic Museum Mainz, 1992.
The medieval ring measures 13 mm at its widest point and is available in 3 sizes.
In contrast to the historical model, the finger ring is not closed on the bottom, but has parallel ends that overlap each other by about 12 mm. Thus, the diameter can easily be increased by a few ring sizes.
Ring Sizes:
S = 17,3 mm - EU 53 - 56 / US 6.5 - 8
M = 19,3 mm - EU 58 - 63 / US 8.5 - 10
L = 21,3 mm - EU 64 - 69 / US 11 - 12.5
The medieval finger ring is made of high-quality bronze and also available in genuine silver-plated.
