The "horned" helmet on the head of the Weapon Dancer of Uppland is typical of Odin's representation and can be found in this form on various depictions from the Vendel and Viking periods.
However, it is not a horned helmet, but a bird-shaped headdress that refers to the two ravens Hugin and Munin, which are assigned to Odin as attributes.
Strikingly similar to the Odin of Uppland are the weapon dancer illustrations of the famous Sutton Hoo helmet, who are also shown with bird horns, sword and throwing spears.
