This two-part Viking foxtail necklace serves as a necklace for a pendant and is fitted with an S-hook as a clasp and an omega hook for the pendant, and adapts smoothly to any neck shape.
The Viking foxtail necklace has a total length of 55 cm including the hook clasp and omega hook.
The omega hook can be bent open a little so that you can easily attach any pendant to the Viking necklace.
Foxtail necklaces are known from various Viking Age sites and were worn by the Vikings either as a necklace with a pendant or as a connecting chain between a pair of brooches. It could also have been used as a brooch chain for a toilet set with tweezers, needle box or key.
