Closed round ring made from bronze.
This closed ring can be used instead of a bead distributor to link several Viking necklaces together and attach them to a brooch.Especially in eastern Scandinavia and the Baltic region, it was common to wear several chains on top of each other during the Viking Age, so that a somewhat larger ring was needed to join several chain links together.

This closed ring is also well suited to allowing several chain strands to branch off from a central chain. This was common, for example, with chains for Viking Age toilet sets, where several shorter chains branched off from a central, longer chain, on which various implements such as needle boxes, awls, ear spoons, tweezers etc. were then attached.
The closed bronze ring has an outer diameter of 20 mm and an inner diameter of 16 mm
The material thickness is approx. 2 mm.
The ring is available in bronze or silver-plated and 935 sterling silver.
