Here you can buy a detailed replica of a Viking bead distributor, made after a historical bead divider from the Swedish island of Öland.Chain divider plates are found next to elongated stave distributors more often in the grave finds of the Viking Age. Especially in eastern Sweden and on Gotland as well as in the Baltic States, from where different forms of bead distributors are known.
On the underside of the Viking bead distributor there are three holes for attaching chains or chain hooks.

From about 700 to 1000 AD, oval fibulae with chain distributors were an elementary part of women's costume in Sweden and the Baltic States in Northern Europe and are thus often found in the women's graves of the Viking Age there.
Often several chains were worn between the oval brooches, which were attached to wide distribution plates or narrow bar chain distributors. This custom was especially common in eastern Sweden as well as in Finland and the Baltic States.
