This expressive Viking medallion was modelled on a brooch from the Viking Age that was found on the island of Bornholm.The oval-shaped Viking pendant shows the stylized depiction of a crouching animal that originally adorned a so-called bowl brooch.
The Viking medallion has the dimensions: 3.2 x 2.5 cm.
The medallion is available in high-quality bronze or in genuine silver-plated.
A large number of pendants and amulets have been handed down from the time of the Vikings and it was obviously common in those days to wear a precious Viking medallion around the neck, whether to show one's wealth or to assure oneself of supernatural powers.
