Replica of a light-weight Thor*s Hammer after the model of a find from the silver treasure find of Falster / Vålse in Denmark.Thor's hammer was found in a large silver hoard in Vålse on the Danish island of Falster. The original piece of jewellery is now part of the National Museum's collection.

The Thor's hammer was the magical war hammer of the god Thor, with which he fought the enemies of the Norse gods, such as the giants and the Midgard serpent. The Thor's hammer was therefore also called Mjölnir by the Vikings, which means crusher or lightning.
