Medieval pendant in the shape of a crusader cross.
This medieval amulet in the shape of a crusader cross is reminiscent of the medieval crusaders who carried that cross as a sign of their faith in battle.
The crusader cross pendant measures 3.5 x 2.5 cm.
Made of high-quality bronze and also available in real silver-plated.
A black leather cord in 1 m length is included.
The crusader cross was the sign of the Christian crusaders and symbolized the suffering of Christ. There were different forms, but they all have in common the four bars that point from the centre in all four directions, whereby the ends are generally wider than the base in the middle.
In the Middle Ages, the crusader cross was worn by the crusader orders of the Templars, the Maltese, and the Knights of St. John, among others, and can still be found in their coats of arms today.
