This charm in the shape of a crowned heart was made after a medieval badge and bears the words "Amours" on a banner.The model for this medieval heart charm was a pilgrim's badge from France dating from 1350-1424 AD. The original is now in the possession of the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Valenciennes.
