Productdetails...

Celtic amulet with the “Wild Hunt” motif.

This Celtic amulet with three hounds chasing each other is based on the medieval motif of the “Wild Hunt”.

The illustration that served as the model for this Celtic pendant with the wild hunt can be found in the Book of Kells, an Irish manuscript from the early Middle Ages. The illustration shows the Cŵn Annwn, the Celtic hounds of Arawn, the Lord of the Underworld.

The three hounds are chasing each other and their bodies form a triad, an ancient Celtic symbol of the trifold, which in Celtic culture symbolizes life, death and rebirth and thus the eternal cycle of nature.

Dimensions of the Wild Hunt amulet: 3 x 4 cm.

You can buy this Celtic amulet in high-quality bronze or real silver-plated.
Alternatively, also available in 925 sterling silver (Please note the delivery time).

A 1 m long black leather strap is included.
