Axe amulet - pendant in the shape of a bearded axe.
The axe is considered one of the oldest symbols of humanity, as it has always accompanied people in their everyday lives both as a tool and as a weapon.
The axe was already revered as a cult object by the Greek Minoans of the Bronze Age. And around 3000 years later, the Vikings still wore axe amulets around their necks, as finds from Haithabu and Birka prove.
The bearded axe pendant measures 3 x 2.8 cm.
The axe amulet is made of bronze and is also available in genuine silver-plated.
A black leather cord in 1 m length for the bearded axe amulet is included.
