Germanic Irminsul pendant.

This beautiful pendant was designed in the image of the Germanic world ash tree, the so-called Irminsul.

The historical model for this pendant is the Irminsul depiction on a relief at the Externsteine near Detmold / Germany.

The Irminsul was a sanctuary of the pagan Saxons, which was destroyed by the Franks in 772 at the behest of Charlemagne as a prelude to the Saxon Wars. The name Irminsul comes etymologically from irmin = large and sul = pillar, thus denoting a large pillar.

According to the Frankish annals, the Irminsul was located some distance from Eresburg near today's Obermarsberg and was one of the most important Germanic shrines.

You can buy this Irminsul pendant in bronze or in real silver-plated.

MobileST ist ein Template für die xt:commerce (v3.04 SP2.1) Shopsoftware, das allen Shop-Besuchern ein komfortables Einkaufserlebnis bietet, die mit dem Smartphone den Online-Shop besuchen. Alle Seiten sind so optimiert, dass der Besucher schnell und einfach durch die einzelnen Shopseiten navigieren kann und sofort alle nötigen Informationen auf einem Blick hat.
