Here you can buy a dainty oriental-style dress fastener that was made after a Viking bronze fitting from the Swedish Viking settlement of Birka.The Viking dress fastener is in the form of two floral side pieces and a central S-hook and has three small eyelets on the back for sewing on.
Oriental-style fittings are found more frequently in Viking Age finds. Especially among the eastern Vikings in Sweden, Gotland and Russia, bronze fittings in oriental style were not uncommon as grave goods and testify to the widespread trade relations of that time.
