This Viking stave chain features a detailed replica of a serpent shaped chain distributor according to a historical find of the Viking Age.Chain distributors are often found in Viking Age finds, especially in eastern Sweden and on Gotland as well as in the Baltic States.

The Viking Age stave chain has a small S-hook at one end, with which it is hooked into a brooch attached to the chest. There is room for two pendants on the chain distributor, for example components of a Viking toiletry set such as an ear spoon and tweezers.
The Viking chain measures 26 cm including hook and chain distributor and is thus long enough to wear any pendant attached to a brooch at about waist height, which was typical for the women's garments of the Viking Age.
The Viking stave chain is made of high-quality bronze or in real silver-plated.
