Here you can buy a bone hairpin from the Viking Age, made after a find from the Viking town of Jorvik / York.Bone hairpins were very common in the Viking Age, they can be found in the entire settlement area of the Vikings and are known from the sites of Birka, Haithabu, Novgorod, York and Trondheim, among others.
In addition to their function as hairpins, such bone pins are of course equally well suited as robe pins to close a woollen cloak or cape.
The bone hairpin / robe pin from Jorvik is decorated with a cute animal head and was made after an archaeological find, which was found in the settlement layer of the historical Viking city of Jorvik.
