Short and broad skinner knife blade

That beautiful Skinner knife blade is made from 176 layered damascus steel.

Ideal for making your unique knife by yourselfe.

The damascus blade is made from two different types of steel:
At the one hand AISI 4340 which is a hard tempered steel that has a low carbon content, that also contains molybdenum in addition to nickel and chromium with high toughness.
At the other hand 15N20 a nickel-containing steel with good properties, which gives beautiful bright areas and good contrasts when used in damascus steel.

Both steels together produce a beautifully flamed damascus steel. Each piece is one-of-a-kind an has its individual damascus pattern.
The hardness of the blade is 58 to 60 HCR Rockwell.

Dimensions: 17 x 2.8 cm, cutting edge 9 cm.
