This replica of a sheath tip for a sax or sax sheath was made on the model of historical knife sheath fittings from the Viking era.Sheath fittings of this type are known from various Viking sites, including Birka and Gotland, and were used to mount the tip of a leather sheath.

The Viking sheath tip measures 8.5 x 3 cm and is made from high-quality bronze.
Four brass pins are included to fix the sheath tip. To assemble, the pins are inserted through the corresponding hole in the leather and shortened with a side cutter about 1 mm above the fitting.
Then you can tap the sheath tip with a small hammer in a circular motion and fix the sheath fitting permanently to the sheath.
