The fittings are made of high-quality bronze or real silver-plated and measures 11 x 3 cm.
The set includes two fittings and 10 brass pins in 1.6 mm diameter for mounting.
For mounting, one fitting is placed on the scabbard and the places for the holes are marked on the leather. After punching the holes, the brass pins are passed through both fittings and the centrally placed leather. The head of the pin should be on the front side.
Depending on the thickness of the material, shorten each pin to 1.5 - 2 mm and tap it in circulating strokes with a small hammer. In this way, the scabbard fittings are solidly bonded to the leather.
