This detailed replica of a so-called Viking sword chape serves as a firm point at the end of the scabbard and is made after a historical model in the Borre style from the 9th century.

Sword points in this style were particularly common on the Scandinavian mainland, but such Viking scabbard mounts are also known from several other places. Thus, sword chapes of this type are also known from England, Norway, Iceland and Finland.

The dimensions of the sword chape are 7 x 4 cm.
The inner width is 3.6 x 1.4 cm.

The Viking scabbard tip is made of high-quality bronze and is also available in genuine silver-plated.
