Germanic knife from the Iron Age.

Here you can buy a hand-forged knife from the Germanic Iron Age based on historical models.

This beautiful Germanic knife from the Iron Age, often referred to as a Viking knife, has an elaborately twisted handle.

The Germanic knife is hand-forged from a single piece of carbon steel and impresses with its beautiful, matt black surface in a rough forged look.

The Germanic knife is based on original Germanic finds from the post-Christian Iron Age and is an ideal addition to garb in Germanic, Viking and medieval reenactment.

These knives are often attributed to the Viking Age and are therefore often referred to as Viking knives. This is not historically correct, as such knives do not appear in the finds from the Viking Age - they date from around 1000 years earlier, which in no way diminishes their practical value!

The Germanic knife comes with a leather sheath (colour varies from light brown to black) and is well sharpened.

The hardness of the knife is 54 to 56 HCR Rockwell.
Knife length: 19 cm, blade length: 10 x 2.5 cm
