This knife crafting kit is an easy way to craft a stylish knife on your own and comes with different material for making the handle and a leather sheath.The knife blade is made from genuine damascus steel with 256 layers.
At the one hand AISI 4340 is used, which is a hard tempered steel that has a low carbon content, that also contains molybdenum in addition to nickel and chromium with high toughness. At the other hand 15N20 is used, a nickel-containing steel, which gives beautiful bright areas and good contrasts when used in damascus steel.
Both steels together produce a beautifully flamed damascus steel. Each piece is one-of-a-kind and has an individual damascus pattern.
The hardness of the knife blade is 56 to 58 HCR Rockwell.
