This knife crafting kit is an easy way to craft a stylish damascus knife on your own and comes with different material for making the handle and a leather sheath.The knife blade is made from genuine damascus steel with 256 layers.The hardness of the knife blade is 56 to 58 HCR Rockwell.
At the one hand AISI 4340 is used, which is a hard tempered steel that has a low carbon content, that also contains molybdenum in addition to nickel and chromium with high toughness. At the other hand 15N20 is used, a nickel-containing steel, which gives beautiful bright areas and good contrasts when used in damascus steel.
Both steels together produce a beautifully flamed damascus steel. Each piece is one-of-a-kind and has an individual damascus pattern.
