The two-piece hinge set is inspired by the Mästermyr hinge and forged entirely by hand.The Viking hinge impresses with its simple functionality, as was common with the forged hinges of the Vikings.
Even Celts and Romans had chests with forged iron hinges, and Viking ship chests also usually had forged iron hinges to secure belongings.
The Viking hinge "Mästermyr" consists of two hinges, without hasps, and has the following dimensions:
22.5 x 1.5 cm (individual parts 11.5 + 12.5 cm). Thickness 2 mm.
