Here you can buy a hand-forged medieval bowl lamp from iron that is ideal for authentic lighting in the style of the Middle Ages.The medieval bowl lamp has a long spout that fits onto a separate stand. This allows you to place the lamp conveniently on a table or, without the base, on a stick stuck into the ground at any height.

Medieval bowl lamps can be fuelled perfectly with wax remnants. A few small pieces of wood, or even better, a piece of dried tinder fungus, are sufficient as a wick.
Twisted cotton strips or old sackcloth can also be used as wicks. To extinguish the bowl lamp, simply place a wooden board over the opening to smother the flames.
