Forged medieval meat skewer with bright tip.
This hand-forged meat skewer of steel has a brightly polished tip and an artfully shaped handle, with a rustic black finish.Like many historical models from the Middle Ages, the medieval meat skewer is provided with a pretty torsion design, which makes the handle of the skewer particularly easy to grip.
At the end, the medieval meat skewer is forged into an elegantly rolled eyelet to which a solid leather strap is attached.
The dimensions of the medieval meat skewer are 46 x 3 cm.
The shaft is 5 mm thick.
For protection, there is a removable plastic protective cap at the tip of the skewer.
Meat skewers were quite common in the Middle Ages, they were used as roasting skewers for grilling over an open fire or to fish pieces of meat out of the cooking pot.
