The tripod is made of 8 mm wide, twisted square steel rods and can also hold larger weights without problems.

The historical model for this medieval tripod was a Viking Age find from the ship grave of Oseberg, which had an overall length of about 1.25 m and a height of about 80 cm above the ground, ending in three small claws.
