This noble horn spoon in the style of the Middle Ages is made in traditional craftsmanship from genuine water buffalo horn.The horn spoon has a pleasant, smooth surface and is wonderfully polished, which makes using the horn spoon a real pleasure. The shape of the tablespoon is based on historical models from the Middle Ages.
The medieval horn spoon measures 18 x 5 x 1.5 cm.
A useful utensil for every day and camp life in LARP and medieval re-enactment.
As horn is a natural product and this horn tablespoon is made entirely by hand, there may be variations in shape and colour from the pictures shown.
Horn spoons have been traditionally used in many countries for centuries. Unfortunately, the food certification required by the German legislator for this use according to the Foodstuffs and Commodities Act (Lebensmittel- und Bedarfsgegenständegesetz, LFBG) is very expensive and would have a negative effect on the favourable sales price of our goods made of genuine horn. Thus, we offer this medieval-style tablespoon of horn quasi only as a prop, which by definition is not certified for food.
