Hand-carved Viking bag toggle of real bone.

This striking Viking toggle with dragon head carving is made from real bone and an ingenious way to close a medieval bag.

The bone toggle was handmade according to a historical model from the Viking Age and is decorated with a carved dragon's head. The original is now in the British Museum in London.

The Viking bone toggle is pierced in the mouth of the dragon's head so that a leather strap can be pulled through it and attached to the bag. A small leather loop serves as a counterpart for the toggle, which you pass through a recess in the bag lid and then close with the stopper.

The Viking bag toggle measures approx. 7 x 1.2 x 1 cm.

MobileST ist ein Template für die xt:commerce (v3.04 SP2.1) Shopsoftware, das allen Shop-Besuchern ein komfortables Einkaufserlebnis bietet, die mit dem Smartphone den Online-Shop besuchen.
