The Germanic beard comb made of bone is assigned to the 2nd century AD and thus dates from the Roman imperial period.
The beard comb has a small hole in the middle. Presumably, the bone comb was provided with a ribbon and worn around the neck or fastened to the belt. This beard comb is also ideal for Viking reenactment.
The Germanic beard comb is elaborately handcrafted and measures 6 x 3 x 0.8 cm.
