Twisted ring of brass wire after medieval finds.
This small twisted ring of brass wire was hand made after a model from the Middle Ages found in Sweden.Twisted rings made of bronze or silver are not uncommon in medieval finds and were used both to fasten jewellery or ornaments and even as finger rings.
The twisted wire ring can be used to connect a necklace to a Viking brooch or a toiletry set.
The model for this twisted ring comes from a Viking Era find from Birka / Sweden.

The medieval wire ring has an outer diameter of 20 mm. The material thickness is approx. 1 mm.
