Knotted wire ring from the Viking Age.
This small wire ring was made after a model from the Viking Age found in Sweden.Knotted rings made of bronze or silver are not uncommon in Viking Age finds and were used both to fasten jewellery or ornaments and even as finger rings.
The wire ring can not only be used to connect a necklace to a brooch or a toiletry set, it also works very well as a plain finger ring.
The model for this knotted wire ring comes from the Viking silver treasure of Färgelanda in Dalsland / Sweden.

The wire bronze ring has an outer diameter of 18 mm and an inner diameter of 15 mm. Material thickness approx. 1.1 mm.
The ring is available in bronze or real silver-plated.
