Here you can buy a reproduction of an authentic fibula / spiral brooch from the Bronze Age, dating from 800 - 600 BC.Brooches made of wires twisted into spirals are found in large numbers in Bronze Age finds and were widespread from Scandinavia to Greece in almost identical form. The Bronze Age fibula often had two spirals of the same shape on both sides, but there were also brooches with only one spiral.

In the Bronze Age, the so-called spiral fibula was, along with the spectacle brooch, a widespread garment clasp and was used equally for the garments of men and women. This type of brooch is still an attractive accessory for historical garb in LARP or reenactment.
