This Celtic belt stud can be used to stud leather accessories, e.g. as a decoration for medieval style bags and belts.The trad is often found as a motif in the Celtic and Scandinavian regions and was used in various ways on arts and crafts items from the Middle Ages.
The Celtic belt stud is made of cast zamak and is available in brass or silver colour.
Celtic belt stud dimensions: 2 x 1.5 cm.
There is a 5 long mm pin on the back of the Celtic belt stud, onto which a small cap supplied is simply placed for fastening. This allows the fitting to be fixed in place with a few light taps with a hammer.
