This medieval belt fitting in the shape of a stylized flower was made after a model from France that dates to the 14th century.The bronze fitting comes from a medieval belt find from Compiègne and is now on display in the Musée national du Moyen Âge.

Fastening: There are two pins on the back of the medieval belt fitting. To attach the belt stud, simply pass them through the corresponding holes in the leather. It is best to use pliers to bend the tip of the pin inwards a little. If you then tap it with a hammer, the tip will sink into the leather and the belt fitting will be stable and flat on the belt.
