Viking belt plate for straps of 3 cm width - brass.
Belt plated of brass or bronze were widely used in the Viking era and the Middle Ages for the connection by buckles on leather belts and, hence, are found often in the archaeological material.The Viking belt plate has the measure 3.4 x 2.9 cm and suits for medieval or Viking straps with a width of 3 cm.
The belt plate is suited for strap strengths of 3 to 4 mm.
Connection: The Viking belt plate is delivered with double head rivets which are led to the connection by the suitable holes in the metal and are fitted together with a few light blows with a hammer on a firm ground, so the medieval belt plate will be fastened solidly on the belt.
