Belt plats made from brass or bronze were used in the Middle Ages for the connection of buckles and leather belts and, hence, are found often in the archaeological material.The medieval belt plate has the measure 3.6 x 3.9 cm and is suited for strap with a width of 4 cm and a strength of 3 to 4 mm.
Connection: The belt plate comes with double head rivets which are simply led through the holes in the metal and fitted together. With a few light hammer blows on a firm ground, the medieval belt plate can be easily fastened on the belt.
