Here you can buy a richly studded Viking belt bag after a find from Birka made of supple cowhide.This Viking belt bag is based on the so-called Birka bag, a fragment of which was found in the Swedish Viking settlement of Birka in Lake Mälaren.
Particularly noteworthy on this Viking belt pouch are the lavishly used fittings, as they were especially popular on the belt pouches of the Vikings and Rus in the eastern region.
The total of ten fittings on this Viking belt pouch are based on historical originals from the 9th and 10th centuries and make the Birka pouch a real gem!
The central fitting on the belt bag was made after a find from the Swedish Viking settlement of Ås, but very similar fittings were also found on belt bags in Birka.
This Viking belt bag is an extremely successful interpretation of the original Birka pouch, which probably once belonged to a Magyar or Swedish long-distance trader and is a particularly beautiful and high-quality addition to historical garb in larp and Viking reenactment.
