Strap passage fitting for a Viking bag.
This bag fastener is intended as a strap passage for bag flaps of Viking bags and is a matching addition to the Birka bag fitting.The strap passage is attached to the front of a bag and then simply pushed into a hole on the bag lid.
With a strap passed through from above, the bag can be securely closed in this way.
In terms of material, colour and dimensions, the bag closure is perfectly suited as a counterpart to the Birka bag fitting.
However, the clasp can just as well be used without it.
Made of zamak in brass and silver colour.

Strap hole 3.8 x 1.3 cm.
Hole diameter 4 mm.
Passage 1.6 cm wide, 1 cm high.
Two matching rivets for fastening are enclosed.
