The buckle and fittings on this 3 cm wide Merovingian belt are based on early medieval models from the 5th - 6th centuries.In contrast to the historical original, this Merovingian belt is equipped with a buckle with a spike and not with a spike plate, as is usually found in finds from the Merovingian period.
The Merovingian belt is 3 cm wide and long enough to be worn in wrapped way.
