Medieval belt, 4.5 cm wide, with a hand-forged buckle.
Here you can buy a sturdy medieval belt, crafted from solid cowhide leather 3 to 3.5 mm thick, featuring a historical iron buckle.Two narrow lines embossed into the leather give this 5 cm wide medieval belt an elegant look. The belt is available in brown or black leather.
Forged iron buckles, such as those on this belt, were already worn in Celtic and Roman times. However, iron buckles are found primarily in archaeological finds from the Germanic, Viking and Medieval periods.
Two sizes are available:
S: 165 cm Circumference 92 - 107 cm
L: 180 cm Circumference 105 - 120 cm
The 4.5 cm wide belt strap is of a length typical of the Middle Ages and is therefore worn wrapped – so that the excess end of the belt hangs decoratively to the ground. Ideal for LARP and medieval re-enactment costumes.
